In an interview, "I'm lucky that the real estate businesshas been able to supply the money that the aerospace company requires"(Bigelow). In 1988 hefounded Budget Suites of America, a chain of extended-stay hotels that offered apartments forrent by the week. They appeal to temporary or migrant workers, like the kind who work athotels and casinos, and emphasize affordability and convenience, not luxury (Ewalt). Thebusiness worked well so it provided a model for Bigelow Aerospace, founded. He made spacestations that were cheap and efficient available.Bigelow is a curious billionaire who wants to study paranormal activity.
